Secondhand Confessions is a Reddit-reading comedy podcast hosted by best friends Pugly and Mickey. Every other Wednesday, the pair dives into the internet's messiest relationships, moral dilemmas, family drama, and outrageous confessions, offering plenty of unsolicited opinions along the way.
Pugly
Pugly is a PhD dropout, a chronic overthinker, and the kind of person who thinks multiples of five are objectively better than other numbers. She likes cats, the sound of a soda can cracking open, and turning minor curiosities into full-scale investigations. Thanks to a sleep disorder, she considers “awake” to be more of an aspiration than an achievable state of being. She collects vinyl records, niche interests, and life experiences that will someday make an excellent memoir—assuming she can stay awake long enough to write it.
Mickey
Mickey is a world traveler, hopeless romantic, and relentless optimist who was mildly disappointed to learn that this podcast would not, in fact, be about geopolitical affairs. She loves spontaneous adventures, dancing, and the unmatched thrill of finishing a library book three whole days before it's due. Her favorite movie is Charlie's Angels, which tracks nicely with the fact that she spent much of her childhood planning a career as a spy. She also has the world's smallest bladder, which means that Pugly spends an unreasonable amount of time editing around her bathroom breaks.
